A spotlight on Eryn Bowles
A spotlight on Eryn Bowles

Introducing Eryn Bowles, Chief Operating Officer at Lawcadia. Eryn is responsible for delivering successful legal operations technology solutions for clients, both in-house legal teams and law firms. Eryn oversees client implementations, customer success and support functions, and ensures the on-time delivery of new and/or improved product development solutions aligned with the company’s technology roadmap.

With over 14 years of experience in operations and business improvement, she brings a wealth of skills and knowledge to Lawcadia and her clients. Eryn leads Lawcadia’s operations in the UK and EMEA region and is permanently based in London after recently relocating from Brisbane, Australia.

When asked about her time at Lawcadia and what she sees the future holding, Eryn said, “I have gained a high level of personal satisfaction from my job as I genuinely love to help people. Moving forward, I believe there is an abundance of opportunities for Lawcadia.”

“We offer customised solutions for our clients as no two legal teams’ operations look the same. Each organisation will have a different version of legal operations because it needs to work for them. There are unlimited opportunities to assist various companies in finding their best legal operations solution and letting this shine through. That’s what I’m most excited about, and I love being part of that process,” said Eryn.

Her passion lies in ensuring technology solutions make a difference in how legal teams operate and has demonstrated this with numerous clients during her time with Lawcadia. She focuses on collaborating with legal teams to understand the problems they want to solve and then works with them to design and implement solutions using Lawcadia’s highly configurable platform. The resulting platform integrates the legal function into the organisation’s everyday operation so that it is no longer an afterthought but a key part of the business decision-making process.

When discussing the benefits of integrating legal operations into an organisation’s legal function, she stated, “Legal operations professionals have significant experience to bring to the table. One of their main strengths is that they are focused on looking for opportunities in systems and efficiencies that other people may not see. I recommend clients and legal teams bring them into the conversations early and harness that knowledge.”

Eryn is a valued member of the Lawcadia Executive Team and was recently awarded top Legal Operations Professional of the Year at the 2022 Australian Law Awards and is a current finalist for Legal Operations Professional of the Year at the 2022 Women in Law Awards.
